We haven’t had a meeting yet since Christmas break, and that’s my fault - sorry everyone :( At least finals are over and everyone can relax now sooo we’ll have a meeting this week for sure! Listen for the announcements! We have a lot to discuss so be sure not to miss out! We have a fundraiser, lots of service hour opportunities, we have a scholarship available, and elections and District Convention are just around the corner!

Rose Float Decorating - Pasadena Tuesday, December 28th 2 Buses Leave 6:30 am from Bellflower Kiwanis Hall and returns about 5:00 pm We will be working on about 15 Floats in Pasadena from 8:00am - 4:00 pm Lunch will be provided by Kiwanis. We have 100 slots for Key Clubbers. 20 Key Clubbers from each club will be allowed to attend.

1. You did not complete or receive the amount of hours/spirit required.
2. You did not complete the above and you have not been to any meetings.
3. You have not shown any initiative or effort as a member of Key Club.
*Any chances to redeem your membership ended last week. Emergency service hours, and point opportunities were offered. So this roster is final. NO CHANGES WILL BE MADE!
I’ll be in Lamanski’s room (554) at lunch for anyone who wants to turn in their emergency service hours, pay for any shirts or bracelets, or to answer any questions about Fall Rally!
FALL RALLY @ Six Flags Be at Bellflower Kiwanis Hall (9302 E Laurel St. Bellflower, CA 90707) before 8am or the bus will leave without you :O Your shirts will be distributed when you arrive. We will also be selling bracelets for $2. I assure you everyone will have them so don’t be left out! We should arrive by 10:30 and thunderstix will be distributed at Six Flags. There will be an ACTUAL RALLY that we all must attend but other than that, you’re free for the rest of the day to ride. We should be out of the park and on the bus by 6pm. ATTENTION KEY CLUB MEMBERS! Check your membership status with the link above. If your name is highlighted in red you are under inspection to have your membership revoked. Keep in mind that we have not put in UNICEF boxes yet so if you turned in your box, do not worry. If there are any mistake please contact me to clarify.
_________________________________________________________ If you have not participated in anything yet and you need hours to avoid having your membership revoked. You can earn some emergency hours and spirit points. In order to save your membership, you need either two hours of community service, or an hour of community service and 2 spirit points.
Hours: -Donate at least $10 (cash) towards Pediatric Trauma Prevention. Every $10 is an two hours. (LAST DAY FRIDAY) -Bring 5 canned foods to your homeroom teacher, have them sign a note that you turned them in. 5 cans will get you an hour. (LAST DAY FRIDAY)
Spirit: -Pay the reaming fee for your club t-shirt $5 and buy a ninja bracelet for $3. Will equal 2 spirit points.
If you plan on doing any of these, please let me or another officer know ASAP.
Here you can always check how many service hours you have accumulated, how mnay spirit points you have earned, what fundraisers and what events you have participated in.
**If your name is highlighted, we have not received your memberhsip fee of $20 yet.
If you do not see your name on the list at all, we did not receive the proper paperwork or money from you at all — there fore you are not a member of Gahr Key Club this school year.
Tell your friends! And remember we can’t fit everyone in one room so get there early!
*Notice that this is a GENERAL meeting. We will start having Formal Meeting in the MPR. Formal meetings are mandatory and attendance will be monitored.If a member misses more than two formal meetings, their membership will be revoked :(
We will start selling 1-inch wide, black wrist bands for next month’s fundraiser for $3.
And while we’re talking about fundraisers, because we have so many members, we can’t have every single person participating in a fundraiser (selling snacks, items at school, etc.) at a time, so each month, we will make a sign up sheet for 10-20 members to participate in the fundraiser for that month.
Each member must at least have participated in one fundraiser to keep their membership.
Key Club has been going through a transition between advisers. Mr. Hallback can no longer be our adviser so we’ve been running around looking for a new one. Meetings are also planned to be moved to the MPR but paperwork is in progress. Sorry guys for letting you hang. As soon as we’re all settled with our new adviser we will let you guys know. But for now, our facebook group, twitter, tumblr, and formspring will alway sbe updated for you guys to check out; all are under the name “Gahr Key Club”.
